Unique coal-themed decor reflecting Welsh culture, Powerful and well-designed shower systems, Engaging local culture through events
Cleaning standards could use a serious overhaul!!! Room maintenance issues like broken items or insufficient lighting really detracted from comfort during the stay. Additionally, poor noise insulation made for a far less restful experience.

The bar area features a cozy ambiance with a selection that isn't too extensive but has some decent options for a nightcap. The location is conveniently close to the city's main attractions, making it easy to explore on foot.
Access to the rooms is through a public arcade, which felt a bit strange and uninviting. The lighting in the rooms is quite dark, at times leading to a gloomy atmosphere, and there are no opening windows. The air conditioning unit was surprisingly noisy, which made relaxation a challenge. Breakfast, which ends at 9 am, didn’t fit well with our schedule, resulting in our family opting to eat out instead. We also found the dinner offerings to be overpriced and not up to par with expectations, which left us unimpressed. Lastly, when it came time to pay the parking fee, an email discount code didn’t work, forcing us to pay much more than anticipated.

Had a blast with friends! We explored the stunning views by climbing the tower and enjoyed a fantastic evening at the local theatre. The hotel was quirky, clean, and friendly staff made our stay special. Just a heads up, breakfast is a little pricey compared to nearby options, but it's worth it!
Our only downside was the mini fridge in our room—nothing much inside, which felt a bit stingy.

We spent 3 nights in a spacious Standard Twin Room and loved the powerful shower and the cozy coffee nook in the lobby. I really enjoyed my stay here, especially how clean and comfy the room was along with the excellent breakfast spread. The live music in the evenings and the cozy sun terrace were perfect for winding down after a long day. The only slight downside was the parking situation – it's a bit of a walk to the NCP car park, so just be aware of that if you're heading out late. 🌅
